Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews (if applicable) and a virtual tour of the program (if applicable).

A monitoring inspection was initiated on August 23, 2021 and concluded on August 24, 2021. The director was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 83 children present, ranging in ages from 1 month to 6 years, with 20 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 5 staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on review of five children's records, one does not contain the required documentation.
Evidence:
The record for child #1 (3 year old), contains an enrollment physical that is more than a year old. Enrollment physicals must be within one year of enrollment for children 2-5 years of age.
Plan of Correction: We will ensure all enrollment physicals are within the required time frame for all new children.
