Inspector Notes
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 2/1/23 from 10:35am to 11:45am with the provider who was present with two assistants. There were 12 children in care, ranging in age from eight-months to three-years-old, for a total of 34 points. Children were observed playing with puzzles, coloring, having diapers changed, washing hands, putting on dress-up costumes, discussing body parts in Spanish and English, and listening to a story. Five child records and one caregiver record were reviewed. The provider and both assistants have current certification in CPR and First Aid. Lunch today was chicken, tortillas, peas, peaches, and milk. The emergency drill log, attendance, and menu were reviewed. If you have questions regarding this inspection, please contact the Licensing Inspector, Laura Brindle, at laura.brindle@doe.virginia.gov or 540-905-2062.
