Inspector Notes
An announced inspection was conducted on 12/18/23 with the provider from 9:30am to 10:35am in response to a planned relocation of the licensed program. There were no children in care during the inspection. A walk through of the home was conducted to check for any obvious hazards. The provider?s record, an assistant?s record, and one adult household member record were reviewed. The provider and assistant have current certification in CPR and First Aid. The provider does not give medication at this time but may obtain certification in Medication Administration in the new year in order to give emergency medication, if necessary. Other policies were discussed and are staying the same from the previous location. The daycare is equipped with a variety of age-appropriate materials. The provider has updated her emergency evacuation procedures based on the new location. The first aid kit, flashlight, weather band radio, fire extinguisher, smoke detectors, and carbon monoxide detectors were observed. Emergency numbers, evacuation maps, and daily schedules were posted. There were no violations cited from the inspection. Based on the provider?s previous compliance history and a lack of violations during the initial inspection, a regular license will be recommended.
