Inspector Notes
An unannounced complaint investigation was initiated along with Licensing Inspector Cathy Aylor on 11/13/23 in response to a complaint received in the licensing office regarding allegations of inadequate care and protection of children. Based on a review of available documentation and interviews, the Licensing Inspector was unable to substantiate the allegation due to insufficient evidence, therefore the compliant was determined to be invalid. Based on observation, it was determined that there was an insufficient fall zone, clear of all hazardous obstacles, to the rear of the swings.
Evidence: The Licensing Inspectors observed approximately 18 oversized outdoor building bricks, a large construction bucket and three blocks between 2 to 5 feet to the rear of the swings. These obstacles were in fall zone of the swings.
