Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted on 7/21/22 from 12:45pm to 1:45pm. There were 4 daycare children present (7points) with 2 staff supervising. The children were observed taking naps. A walk through of the indoor and outdoor space of the family day home was conducted. 5 household member records,2 staff records and 4 children's records were reviewed. The family day home's emergency plan and drill records, emergency supplies were also reviewed. There were no children present with diagnosed food allergies or medications. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on observation, cots when being used for napping by children did not have linens consisting of a top cover and a bottom cover.
Evidence: 4 children were observed napping on cots. They only had a top cover.
Plan of Correction: I had sheets but I discontinued use due to pandemic. I will make sure there are top and bottom covers.
