Inspector Notes

A renewal inspection was conducted on 2/9/23. There were 3 daycare children and 1 resident child present (8 points) , with 2 caregivers supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. The children were observed playing with blocks and home living toys. A total of 3 children's records, 2 caregiver's records and 2 adult household member records were reviewed. Emergency drill records, attendance, pet vaccination records and first aid supplies were also reviewed. There were no children with medications on site.

Based on observation, the diapering surface was not non-absorbent.
Evidence: Two diaper changing pads had tears on the surface making them an absorbent surface.
Plan of Correction: I will get a new diaper changing pad.
