Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, and a virtual tour of the program.

A monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on 1/31/2022. The director was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 23 children present with 6 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, staff qualifications and training, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care provisions and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on record review, the center did not implement an evacuation drill monthly.

Evidence: A fire drill was not practiced during the month of August 2021.
Plan of Correction: We will vary the times of the drills during the summer to make sure they are completed.
