Inspector Notes

A renewal inspection was conducted today, 09/12/2022. There were a total of 85 children with 17 staff members present. Children were observed napping, playing with boats and water, bottle feeding/tummy time, music class, and interacting with teachers. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 6 child records and 4 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on observation, areas and equipment of the center were not maintained in a safe condition.
Evidence:
An upper cabinet in the right corner of the room had a loose cabinet door that fell off when opened.
Plan of Correction: Corrected during inspection. Removed door cover and the storage shelf of upper cabinet will be used to store the additional classroom supplies
