Inspector Notes
A complaint involving a child who sustained burns from a crockpot used to heat bottles was investigated on 09/29/2022 and 10/04/2022. The investigation included staff interviews, parent interviews, a review of staff records, a review of child records, and physical space inside the infant classroom. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. The preponderance of evidence determines this a valid complaint. Please email me with questions/concerns at: ariel.hayes@doe.virginia.gov.
