Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on January 9 2024 between 10:45am and 12:15pm. There were 92 children in the direct care of 18 staff members. Children were observed being diapered, having hands washed, reading, having pretend play, and preparing for lunch. Staff records, child records, medical records, and evacuation drills were reviewed and inspected. Citations are listed on the violation notice. Based on record review, the center did not ensure that documentation is maintained of emergency evacuation drills.

Evidence: On the evacuation drill log, August 2023 does not have a documented dated of practice. The center director confirmed that one was practiced, but was it was not documented on the form.
