Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a virtual tour of the program.

A monitoring inspection was initiated on 01/14/2022 and completed on 01/20/2022. The provider was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 4 children present, ranging in ages from 14 months - 4 years, with 1 caregiver. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 children's records and 2 caregiver records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on record review and interview, the provider failed to ensure that caregivers shall complete 16 hours of annual training in areas relevant to their job responsibilities.

Evidence:
1. Caregiver 2 has documentation of 3 hours of annual training for 2021. 16 hours are required.
a. Caregiver 1 confirmed that caregiver 2 had completed 3 hours of annual training in 2021.
Plan of Correction: Caregiver 2 will complete 16 hours of annual training in 2022.
