Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was initiated on 2/2/23 and concluded on 2/2/23. There were 40 children present, ranging in ages from 3 months to 5 years, with 10 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined noncompliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.

Based on observation, the center failed to ensure the written allergy list for staff was kept confidential in each room.

Evidence:

In the PreK room, a sign was posted listing the name of a child in the class and stating the child's allergy and medication the child was prescribed for the allergy.
Plan of Correction: The sign will be moved to a location in the classroom for only staff to see.
