Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was completed from 1:00a.m. until 2:30p.m. There were 16 children present with 3 staff supervising. The director/licensee was also present for part of the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 child records and 4 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on record review and interview, the center did not have an annual fire inspection report.
Evidence:
1. The last fire inspection was dated 12/17/2021.
Plan of Correction: The director has called the fire inspector multiple times and will continue to do so until it has been completed.

Based on observation, the center had a piece of equipment that was not safe.
Evidence:
There was a t.v. mounted in the infant room; the cord, approximately 3 feet long, was not secured to wall
Plan of Correction: The cord will be secured to the wall.
