During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. If there were any serious injuries or fatalities related to a violation, the details will be included in the description of the violation.

Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on and completed on 2/13/2025. The on-site inspection began at 11:05am and ended at 12:10pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were six children present and two caregivers; the point total was 15. The inspector reviewed five children?s records and five caregiver/household members records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-770-40-D-5
Household members 14 years of age and older must obtain the results of a central registry search by the end of the 30th day of residence. Household Member #1 did not have central registry results during the inspection and has been residing in the home for five months.
Plan of Correction: The provider will obtain the results of a central registry search for both household members.
Standard 8VAC20-800-180-A
The provider shall obtain for each caregiver and adult household member a
current Report of Tuberculosis Screening form. A TB screening for Household member #1 and #2 had not been completed and they had been renting out the basement for five months.
Plan of Correction: The provider will obtain a TB screening for both household members.
Standard 8VAC20-800-830-C
Documentation shall be maintained of emergency evacuation and shelter-in-place
drills. The record of current emergency evacuation and shelter-in-place
drills could not be located during the inspection.
Plan of Correction: The provider will keep the record of drills on the corkboard in the childcare area.
