Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was conducted on 11/21/24 from 10:15 am to 11:00 am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 11 children present and 2 caregivers; the point total was 29. The inspector reviewed 3 children?s records and 2 caregiver's and 1 household member's on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the family day home, interviews, and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

High chairs shall be used according to the manufacturer's instructions and when occupied by a child, a safety strap shall be used and securely fastened.
Two children were observed in high chairs. They were not securely fastened with safety straps.
Plan of Correction: Children will be strapped when seated in high chairs.
