Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted at the providers home on 3/30/22. The provider and his wife were present with 5 children in care. A total of 14 points. Observed the children playing, the provider has a large space for play and a separate room for napping. Observed lots of interaction between the caregivers and children.
The children had waffles, bananas and milk for breakfast and were going to have Rice and a stew of chicken and vegetables for lunch. Reviewed 3 children's records as well as the provider and assistants records. A violation notice was also presented to the provider at this inspection. Based on the measured temperature of the water in the bathroom, the water is above the 120 degrees.
Evidence: The water in the bathroom measure 129 degrees.
Plan of Correction: We have turned the water heater down and will monitor children when they are in the bathroom and using the hot water, as well as check the temperature to make sure it is not above 120 degrees.
