Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted on 11/8/2023 from 1:30 pm to 2:32 pm. Nine children, ages eight months to three years (total of 25 points) were in care with two caregivers. The Licensing Inspector reviewed four children?s records, two provider records, one household member record, and other program records. The children were observed playing and napping.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on document review and interview, the center failed to keep a written record of children in attendance each day.

EVIDENCE:
The attendance sheet for 11/8/2023 showed nine children in attendance, however, they were not the nine children that were there.
Children 1, 3, and 4 were in attendance, but where not marked as present on the attendance sheet.
Child 6 was not here, and staff 1 stated they left; they were marked as present on the attendance sheet.
Child 7 was not here, and staff 1 stated they were at school; they were marked as present on the attendance sheet.
Plan of Correction: From now on, attendance will be kept up-to-date as children arrive and leave.
