Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on July 18, 2024 and completed on July 18, 2024, as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 9:30am and ended at 10:30am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 3 children present and 1 staff. The inspector reviewed 2 children?s records and 1 staff records in addition to 3 household member's records onsite.

This inspection included:
? document review (policies and procedures, emergency drill logs, and authorization forms,
? tour of the home
? observation of children playing and having morning snack.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation, child-resistant protective covers larger than 1-1/4 inches in diameter were not installed on all unused electrical outlets and surge protectors accessible to children under five years of age.

Evidence:
One outlet in the child care resting area was observed without a cover.
Plan of Correction: Plug covers installed while inspector was on-site.
