Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted on April 12, 2022. There were 86 children present, with 16 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. Standard 8VAC20-780-160-C
Based on review of 8 staff records, one record did not contain the results of a follow up tuberculosis screening.
Evidence
The record for staff #1 contained a tuberculosis screening that expired 3/5/2022.
Plan of Correction: Staff #1 will get her TB done this week.
Standard 8VAC20-780-420-E-3
Based on review of 8 children records, 7 did not have at least annually parent confirmation that the required information in the child's record is up to date.
Evidence
The record for children #1,2,3,4,5,6 and 7 does contain in writing at least annually parent confirmation that the the required information is up to date.
Plan of Correction: I have some of the updates and will get the rest and make sure the documentation is in the record.

Based on observation, cots are not identified for use by a specific child.
Evidence
Cots located in the 3's classroom were not labeled or identified for use by a specific child.
Plan of Correction: We will label them today and make sure all cots are always labeled for individual use.
