Inspector Notes
A monitoring inspection was conducted on 09/15/2022. There were a total of 40 children with 10 staff members present. Children were observed during nap time, diapering procedures, tummy/floor time, and bottle feeding. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 4 child records and 2 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. 5Evidence:
Sanitizer and Windex were in a lower unlocked cabinet under the diaper station in the older side of the infant classroom.
Evidence:
After a diaper change the teacher did not wash the infants hands before returning them to play.
Evidence:
The current emergency preparedness plan was dated 8/31/2022.
Evidence:
1 of 4 bottles checked did not have the date and 1 of 1 baby food checked did not have the date.
Evidence:
A baby in the younger side of the infant classroom was in a rocker seat with a bottle propped up for eating. The baby was unable to hold the bottle to feed themselves.
