Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.

A complaint inspection was initiated on 6/1/21 and concluded on 6/7/21. An initial complaint was received by the department on 4/2/21 regarding allegations in the areas of food service, handwashing and diapering procedures and COVID guidance. An additional complaint was received by the department on 5/20/21 regarding allegations in the areas of staff-to-child ratios and physical plant. The director was contacted by telephone to conduct the investigation. Telephone interviews with staff were conducted and documentation related to the complaint was reviewed. A virtual walkthrough of the facility was also conducted. The evidence gathered during the investigation did not support the allegations of non-compliance with standards or law.
