Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today. The provider and two assistant caregivers were caring for 8 children, totaling 25 points. This is one more caregiver than required per the Licensing Minimum Standards.
This inspection took place in the middle of the afternoon. All children were napping during this inspection.
The Inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administrative records, the physical plant, emergency preparedness, children's records, caregiver training, and health records.

Base on a review of children's records, it was determined that one child's record does not contain all required information.
Evidence:
Child record B does not include documentation of the parent's annual review of the child's emergency contact information. This information was most recently reviewed by the parent on 3/31/2021.
Plan of Correction: I will ask the parent at pick up to review the information in the file.
