Inspector Notes
A mandated monitoring inspection was conducted on May 14, 2024 from approximately 10:00am-11:00am. There were 73 children in care with 11 staff supervising. Children were observed sitting in circle time, singing songs, playing with hula hoops and listening to a teacher read a book. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 5 staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Violations
4Evidence: Staff 3 has a tuberculosis screening last conducted on 8/27/2021. Staff 4 has a tuberculosis screening last conducted on 4/7/2022. Staff 5 has a tuberculosis screening last conducted on 5/12/2021.
Evidence: A bottle of children's zrtec allergy medication was not labeled with the child's name.
Evidence: Adult medication and one unlabeled child's medication were stored on an upper open shelf.
Evidence: The center conducted all emergency drills at 11:00am on a monthly basis. The drills did not occur over multiple shifts and it was not divided evenly among various shifts.
