Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review and interview.

A monitoring inspection was initiated on 02/16/2022 and concluded on 03/02/2022. The director was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 14 children present, ranging in ages from 3 years to 5 years, with 2 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 child records and 2 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on record reviews, the facility failed to ensure that staff complete 16 hours of training annually.
Evidence:
1. The inspector reviewed two staff records. Staff record #2 contained documentation of 2.5 hours of annual training.
Plan of Correction: I will work with Administration staff to ensure staff #2 is brought up to date with training hours.
