During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated on 01/07/2025 and completed on 01/08/2025 The on-site inspection began at 1:50 pm and ended at 4:30 pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 47 children present and 13 staff. The inspector reviewed 6 children?s records and 7 staff records on-site and electronically on 01/08/2025. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five business days from today, which will be the close of business on 01/16/2025. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

Standard 8VAC20-780-240-E
Within 30 days of the first day of employment, staff must complete orientation training in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), as appropriate to the age of the children in care.

1. Staff #1, employed for 75 days, did not complete orientation training in first aid and CPR.
2. Staff #4, employed for 83 days, did not complete orientation training in first aid and CPR.
3. Staff #7, employed for 78 days, did not complete orientation training in first aid and CPR.
Plan of Correction: All staff will complete orientation training in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) within the first 30 days of employment.
Standard 8VAC20-780-530-A
At least one staff in each classroom or area where children are present shall have current certification in CPR and first aid as appropriate to the age of the children in care.

Staff #1 does not have current certification in CPR and first aid, and was alone in classroom #2, with infant children.
Plan of Correction: All new hires will receive certification in CPR and first aid as appropriate to the age of the child within the first 30 days of employment.
