Inspector Notes
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 8/24/2022 from 10:00am-11:44am. There were 68 children (infants-5yrs.) supervised by 10 direct care staff. The physical plant, 5 staff records, 5 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play, reading books, singing, circle time, and writing. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Violations
4Evidence: In the Infant classroom, 2 crib sheets were not tightly fitted around the crib mattress to ensure safe sleep practices.
Evidence:
1. In the Primary classroom, a bottle of disinfectant spray, air freshener, and insect repellant was located on top of a cabinet, but not locked.
2. In the Pre-K classroom, air freshener and insect repellant were located on top of a cubby next to the classroom door, but not locked.
Evidence: 8 of 8 food containers brought from home were missing the date.
Evidence: In the Infant classroom, 5 of 5 infant bottles located in the refrigerator were not dated.
