Inspector Notes

This Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was initiated by licensing staff and concluded on 06/14/2024, between the hours of 10 am to 12:30 pm. There were 29 children present, with 8 classroom staff ,supervising across 4 separate rooms. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.

Information gathered during the inspection determined (2) non-compliances with the applicable standards. Violations were documented on the Violation Notice issued to the center.

Based on review, 1 of 5 staff files indicated that not all staff had on file current certification in in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) appropriate to the ages of children in care.

Evidence -
1. On the date of inspection (06/14/2024), Staff #1 had a CPR card that had expired.
2. The date of expiration was 08/26/2023.
Plan of Correction: A class to obtain a new certification has been scheduled.
