Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 05/10/2022. There were 7 children, ages 3 years-5 years, 1 staff member providing direct supervision and various support staff present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, staff qualifications and trainings, staffing and supervision, physical plant, programs, emergencies and nutrition. The children were observed during rest time. A total of 5 children?s records and 3 staff records were reviewed. The inspector arrived for the inspection at 12:45 pm and departed at 2:30 pm.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the provider.

Based on record review and discussion, the center failed to ensure all employees shall undergo all background checks in accordance with the Code of Virginia prior to the issuance of a license and every five years thereafter.
