During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. If there were any serious injuries or fatalities related to a violation, the details will be included in the description of the violation.

Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated and completed on March 18, 2026. The on-site inspection began at 12:30pmand ended at 1:45pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were three children present and three caregivers; the point total was eight. The inspector reviewed three children?s records and five caregiver/household members records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, observations and measurements.

A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted in conjunction with the licensing inspection. Subsidy standards that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this SHSI.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-790-250-B
Within the first 90 days of employment, all caregivers shall complete Virginia Preservice Training for Child Care Staff.

Caregiver #2's record did not contain documentation of completed VA Preservice Training.
Plan of Correction: Caregiver #2 will provide training certificate.
Standard 8VAC20-790-250-F
Caregivers shall annually complete the department's health and safety update training course.

Caregiver #1's annual health and safety update training was more than ten months overdue.

Assistants' and substitute providers' records shall contain all required information.
