Inspector Notes

An unannounced inspection was completed on 09/13/2024 in response to a complaint received by the licensing office on 08/30/2024 relating to allegations of staffing and supervision. This inspection included document review, tour of facility, interviews, and observations.
The preponderance of evidence gathered during the investigation does not support the allegation; therefore, the complaint is determined to be not valid. Though not a part of the original complaint, a violation that was not reported was found related to programs and is documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the deficient practice will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on 09/24/2024. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

Based on observation and interview the center failed to be in compliance with all safe sleep guidelines recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics. Safe sleep guidelines state that infants who fall asleep in a sitting device should be moved to a crib or other safe sleep surface.

Licensing inspector observed an infant sleeping in a ?4 Mom?s Seat? in the Infant I room.
