Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 05/08/2024 from 9:55am - 11:00 am. There were 10 children in care with 3 staff supervising (30 points). The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 child records and 3 caregiver/household member records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation and interview with the provider, the family day home did not have a written emergency preparedness and response plan available for review.

Evidence:
The previous emergency preparedness plan could not be found by the provider.
Plan of Correction: The provider stated she will create a new emergency preparedness plan and ensure it is placed in a visible location.
