Standard 8VAC20-790-670-G
When children are in on-going mixed age groups, the staff-to-children ratio applicable to the youngest child in the group shall apply to the entire group.

There were 14 children and 1 staff member observed in the school-age group; the school-age group of children ranged in age from 4 years-8 years. The required ratio for this on-going mixed age group was based on the 4 year old ratio of one staff per 10 children; two staff members were required for this group of children.
