Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 2/20/2024 from5:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
The center had 12 children present with 5 staff. The children were busy practicing a dance they will be performing at George Mason later this week. Playing in the gym and making t-shirts.
Lots of space and lots of materials for the children to explore. A violation notice was given to the center with this inspection summary. During the inspection 4 children's files and 3 staff records were reviewed.

Based on the review of the records of emergency drills, the center failed to have a monthly evacuation drill.
Evidence: Reviewed the emergency evacuation drills and interview with the staff, the center failed to conduct a January evacuation drill.
Plan of Correction: We will make sure we have monthly drills.
