Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on 4/01/2025 and completed on the same date, as a part of licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 13:55 and ended at 14:55. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 25 children present and 4 staff. The inspector reviewed 4 children?s records and 4 staff records on site. This inspection included, document review, tour of the facility, interviews and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-780-245-J-3
If a child has an emergency medication, that child must be in care of a staff the has taking the training to administer the emergency medication.

A child at the center has an emergency medication that was not covered by the MAT training at the time of the staff taking the MAT training. No staff has the additional medication training.
Plan of Correction: The center supervisor will check with the main office to see if the training was taken. If not the center supervisor and an additional staff will take the training.
