Inspector Notes

Today an unannounced Monitoring Inspection took place between the hours of 1:40pm-2:50pm. There was a total of 59 children with 10 staff within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed playing with toys, reviewing numbers/letters in Arabic, taking a nap and other organized activities. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, evacuation drill log and emergency materials were observed during this inspection. Violations were found during today?s inspection and can be viewed on the Violation Notice. Thank you for your cooperation during the inspection. Based on observation, cribs were not identified for use by a specific child.

Evidence:
1. All cribs located in the infant room were not identified for use by a specific child at the time of the inspection.
Plan of Correction: We will label the cribs with the child names.

Based on observation, when food is brought from home it is not always labeled with the date.

Evidence:
1. Two lunch boxes (infant room) containing food from home were observed to have no date on them at the time of the inspection.
Plan of Correction: We will start dating the food from home.
