Inspector Notes
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted onsite today. A total of 11 children (25pts) with the Provider and 1 assistant were present during the inspection. When the Inspector arrived, the older children were observed preparing to complete an art project which involved making painted fork imprints as flowers on construction paper. The younger children were observed in another room having free play with the assistant. Both groups of children enjoyed playing with wooden puzzles and a small group with trains. A nice transition was observed as the children put their shoes on with some assistance of staff to walk to the nearby playground. No medication needs at this time. The home was maintained and decorated with art projects the children had completed recently. A total of 3 children's records, all staff and 1 household record were reviewed. Thank you for your cooperation today. Please email me at: lisa.hudson@doe.virginia.gov with questions.
