Inspector Notes

n unannounced mandatory inspection was conducted today, February 7th, 2022. There were 38 children present with 8 staff supervising. The children were observed preparing to go outside, playing outside and working in small groups. The children's records, staff records, emergency supplies, emergency procedures, attendance, medications, authorizations and evacuation logs were reviewed. Based on observation, the center failed to keep hazardous substances in a locked place.
Evidence:
In the 2's/3's classroom a container of hand sanitizer that was labeled "keep out of reach of children" was left unattended on the table to the right as you enter the door.
Plan of Correction: The Director immediately removed the container to a locked place and reminded the teacher not to leave substance unattended within reach of small children.
