Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted on July 20, 2022. There were 10 children present, with 3 supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on review of topical skin products, written parent authorization noting any known adverse reactions was not obtained at least annually.
Evidence
Parental authorization for the use of topical skin products was not obtained before the use of the product.
Plan of Correction: I will give each parent the authorization form to complete and keep on file.
