Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted on December 5, 2022. There were 8 children present, with 2 caregivers supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 child records and 3 caregiver records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Standard 8VAC20-800-180-A
Based on review of caregiver records, the provider did not obtain for each caregiver a current report of Tuberculosis Screening form every two years from the date of the first screening.
Evidence
The provider did not obtain a report of Tuberculosis Screening every two years from the date of the first screening for caregiver #1. Current Tuberculosis Screening for caregiver#1 expired 6/12/2022.
Plan of Correction: A new TB screening will be done as soon as possible.
Standard 8VAC20-800-830-A
Based on review of emergency evacuation procedures, a drill was not practiced every month.
Evidence
An emergency fire drill was not practiced in July and August.
Plan of Correction: We will make sure to practice a fire drill each month, even when we practice a shelter in place drill that month.
