Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was initiated on 8/19/2022 and concluded on 8/19/2022. There were a total of 10 children (30 points) observed with 2 caregivers present. The children were engaged in the following: toy play, reading, and other organized activities. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, personnel and household members, physical environment, care of children, handwashing, diapering, medication, emergencies and nutrition. A total of 10 child records and 2 caregiver/household member records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on observation, soiled diapers and wipes were not disposed of in a storage system that was foot operated or used in such a way that neither the caregiver's hand nor the soiled diaper or wipe touched the exterior surface of the storage system during disposal.
Plan of Correction: Provider will purchase a foot operated trashcan for the disposal of soiled diapers and wipes.

Based on file review, the provider did not annually review the emergency contact information with the parent.

Evidence: File on Child #1 did not have signed acknowledgement of annual review of emergency contact information.
Plan of Correction: Provider will review emergency contact information with the parent and obtain their signed acknowledgement of the review.
