Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 5:01 PM and ending at 6:00 PM. There were 11 children in the care of two staff members. The children were observed playing games in the auxiliary gym. Five children's records were reviewed and in compliance. Three staff records were reviewed. Three medications were reviewed and in compliance. The first aid kit, flashlight, and radio were observed. The most recent evacuation drill was documented as 2/8/2022 . The most recent shelter-in-place was documented as 11/19/2021. The most recent fire inspection was dated 9/16/2019. The most recent health inspection was dated 2/7/2022.

Based on a review of staff records, not all staff members present had a central registry finding within 30 days of employment. Evidence: Staff A, hire date 8/2/2021, did not have a central registry finding in their record.
Plan of Correction: The director has followed with the area manager regarding the central registry finding for the staff. A copy of the central registry finding will be forward to licensing upon receipt.
