Inspector Notes

An unannounced Subsidy and Health Inspection was conducted with in conjunction with a monitoring inspection (see that inspection report for details). The two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Two staff record was reviewed for documentation of the mandatory Virginia Preservice Training and current certification in First Aid and CPR. The most recent lockdown inspection was documented as 01/11/23.

Based on review of documentation and staff interview, the center did not ensure that all staff completed the department's health and safety updated training course. Evidence: Staff A did not have documentation of completing the updated health and safety training in their record.
