Inspector Notes
An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted on 11/13/23 from 7:50am to 9:00am in conjunction with a renewal inspection (see that inspection report for details). The two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Six staff records were reviewed for documentation of the mandatory Virginia Preservice Training, Health & Safety Update training, and current certification in First Aid and CPR. Staff reported there were no children currently enrolled with diagnosed food allergies, but they are aware of the requirement for allergy care plans if a child was to enroll with a diagnosed food allergy. The last lockdown drill was documented on 9/29/23.
