Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with the director on October 19, 2022 beginning at 6:55 AM and ending at 7:30 AM. There were 14 school age children in the care of 4 staff members. The children were observed making sculptures. Five children?s records and determined to be in compliance. Two staff records were reviewed. The first aid kit, flashlight, and battery-operated radio were reviewed and in compliance. Four medications were reviewed and in compliance. The most recent emergency escape drill was documented as 9/30/2022. The most recent shelter in place drill was documented as 9/15/2022. The most recent health inspection was dated 4/20/2022. The most recent fire inspection was dated 5/20/2021.

Based on a review of documentation, not all of the facility staff had documentation of a negative tuberculosis screening. Evidence: Staff A did not have documentation of a negative tuberculosis screening in their record.
Plan of Correction: Documentation of a tb screening will be obtained and placed in the staff's record.
