Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 3:15 pm - 4:00 pm. There were 16 children in care being supervised by 3 staff. The children were observed participating in table-top activities. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of five child records and three staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on review of three staff records it was determined that not all records contained documentation of a TB (tuberculosis) screening every two years. Evidence: The most recent TB screening on file for staff A is dated 04/04/2021.
Plan of Correction: Staff A will obtain a TB screening and submit the results for their file.
