Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with the director from 4:30 to 5:15 pm. There were 7 children with 3 staff. The ages of the children ranged from 6 to 9 year. The children had snack, which consisted of blueberry lemon cookies and milk, then they transitioned to zone time, which consisted of a video on China. Two children had medications on site and there have been no injuries/accidents requiring documentation for 2024. Four staff and six children's files were reviewed and the areas of non compliance is outlined on the violation notice.

The decision to administer medication shall be according to the center's written medication policy.
The Epinephrine for child A expired in January 2024.
Plan of Correction: We will get up to date medication.

A written allergy care plan shall be on file for each child with a diagnosed food allergy.
Child C has a food allergy to nuts, there was no allergy care plan on file.
Child B has a food allergy to peaches, there was no allergy care plan on file.
Plan of Correction: We will obtain the allergy care plans.
