Based on interview and review of medication it was determined that children who have been prescribed emergency medication were not always in the care of a staff member who has received Medication Administration Training (MAT). Evidence: The Licensing Inspector (LI) observed emergency medication on site during the inspection. The current staff on site during the inspection were not MAT certified.
Plan of Correction: Administration reported that one staff person who is MAT certified is normally on site, however was not on site during the inspection. Additional staff will become MAT certified to ensure children who require emergency medication are always in the care of MAT certified staff.
