Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today with staff. Ten children were present with two staff. For their afternoon snack,the children were provided carrots, pears and milk. Three staff and six children's files were reviewed today as well. There was medication on site for one child. There were no children enrolled with diagnosed food allergies. Two injury/accident reports for the current school year were reviewed.
The area of non compliance is documented on the violation notice.

Based on observation and interview, it was determined that the qualified program director is not regularly on site at least 50% of the center's hours of operation.
Evidence:
The center is open approximately 27.5 hours weekly. The center director ( staff A) is routinely onsite 1 to 2 times weekly, in the afternoon, which averages between 2.5 to 5 hours weekly.
