Inspector Notes
A monitoring inspection was conducted today between 10:15am and 11:45am. There were 55 children present, with 12 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. The children were observed playing outside, participating in music class, and playing with blocks. A total of 5 child records and 5 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. An area of peeling paint was located outside of the children?s bathroom area.
Evidence:
Dish soap labeled ?keep out of reach of children? was accessible to children in the older infant classroom.
Evidence:
An expired diaper cream was located in the older toddler classroom. Diaper cream expired 3/2024.
Evidence:
An emergency drill log reviewed at the center did not include the number of staff participating, the number of children participating, problems encountered, and weather conditions as necessary.

The posted menu did not include a fruit option for lunches.

A child was sitting a table in the older infant classroom and was not securely fastened with the protective belt.
