Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documentation review and interviews.

A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was initiated on August 10, 2021 and concluded on August 11, 2021. There were no children present. A code compliance inspection was also conducted on this date. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law, and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on review and interview, vendor did not ensure staff attend at least 16 hours of training annually.

Evidence: The records for staff #1 and staff #2 did not have documentation of 16 hours of annual training. Person in-charge stated training was completed but not documented.
Plan of Correction: A log-in sheet documenting training information will be used when staff attend facility trainings. Documentation of all trainings completed will be kept in each staff record.
